We are proud of our ability to deliver a competitive Contract Electronic Manufacturing (CEM) service and aim to offer a fully integrated service to customers from prototyping, pre-production trials and low volume batches to scheduled contract orders.  We have manufacturing facilities in both the UK and abroad.

Component Procurement & Obsolescence Management

Our purchasing team provides added value by selecting and acquiring optimal and cost effective materials from carefully selected ISO 9001 approved suppliers, a crucial step in ensuring quality, efficient and on-time delivery.

Inspection and Test
We can carry out a full range of functional tests to client's specifications, incorporating device programming. We have a number of highly skilled qualified technicians to carry out all aspects of testing using a comprehensive range of test equipment and bespoke test fixtures manufactured in-house to meet client requirements.

To ensure that MLE provide the highest quality products, we have processes in place to continuously measure quality which provides our clients with the confidence that their products are assembled to the highest of standards.

PCB assemblyMaterials Management

At MLE we recognize the importance of materials management as it plays a key role in our success. The control of materials is essential for an accurate, cost effective and timely build. All our suppliers undergo a vigorous appraisal and thereafter continuous monitoring. This ensures all aspects of the supply chain, from receipt of goods, their verification, through to processing within the manufacturing facility are managed effectively.

We work pro-actively to gain the best quality and service from all suppliers and will manage the potential implications of component obsolescence and RoHS compliance.

Traceability from receipt of materials through to final product is maintained throughout MLE's manufacturing process, assuring quality and peace of mind from start to finish.

Full Unit Assembly

We can offer the complete final unit assembly built, tested and packaged to exact customer specifications into plastic or metalwork enclosures. We will also undertake box build for customers. This may include packaging boards into a case or a rack-based box/enclosure after an appropriate functional test. Traceability is maintained throughout the box build process with serial numbers added to the board and box. Within the final packaging, inserting peripheral parts of the package such as CD, power supply, manual, cables and any other components which make up the final package can also be managed.

As part of our aim to provide the complete electronic assembly service, we can offer extensive manufacturing experience and expertise in producing cables; wires, looms and harnesses for all type of industries, from a complex one-off loom to 1000's.

All types of cable assemblies and interconnection solutions to meet the most demanding of specifications can be produced (typically manufactured). Using cut and strip equipment and automatic crimp machinery, we are able to produce a varied range of cable assemblies to customer specifications ranging from large complex wire harness assemblies, 19" cabinet looms, flexible coax cable assemblies, PTFE looms, ribbon cables, D connector assemblies and circular Amphenol assemblies.
