The Investor in People Award recognises our commitment to providing a unique working environment for all staff and our resolve to become a leading company with a reputation for excellence in employment.
Investor in People Assessor Terry Hooper recommended us for the award after he completed an assessment visit, where he was shown around the business and met with members of the team. He told us that, more often than not, companies are unsuccessful at the first stage of the Investors in People scheme; however, we were one of the successful few to receive the award after just one assessment. Mr Hooper commented, "MLE is a small but growing business with a positive team identity, operating within a culture of mutual support, staff involvement, trust, honesty and positive leadership".
We encourage staff members to work in cross-disciplined teams in order to develop different areas of the business. By doing this they are able to gain understanding of other areas of the business and take ownership of changes and improvements happening within their workplace. The result is an integrated business with a team that is fully engaged in working together to take the company forward. Key to our vision has always been our desire to create an environment that empowers and supports staff.
The most recent IiP audit was equally successful and we are proud to continue to be recognised as supporters of inclusion, personal development and growth for all employees.
